Is therapy expensive? Hell yes. It's an investment in your life, your mental health, your time, and the opportunity to explore patterns you have been carrying for a long damn time. These are not traditional 50-minute weekly talk therapy circles.
Why it costs what it does
Therapy costs what it does because this isn’t surface-level talk therapy or clinical fluff. It's focused therapeutic work that gives us time to explore stress, trauma-related experiences, body sensations, emotions, memories, and patterns that may have been affecting you for years. By integrating approaches like EMDR, Brainspotting, and somatic therapy, we’re not just talking about your trauma; we’re working with how it lives in you. If regular, ongoing talk therapy hasn’t been enough, this format may offer another way to work with body sensations and reactions when insight and conversation alone have not felt like enough.
If you're ready for an alternative to weekly talk therapy and want to try something new, let's do the focused work now.
The intensive structure
This isn't the same one-hour-a-week counseling loop where things are drawn out for years on end. Traditional therapy cuts you off as soon as the work gets good. This intensive structure gives us more time for pacing, breaks, reflection, and focused therapeutic work. More time does not guarantee more progress; it simply changes the container. I utilize extended sessions starting at 90 minutes and going up to 10 hours. This allows you to get real and unfiltered, drop the armor, stop watching the clock, and sink into deep, meaningful work.
Yes, this is an upfront investment. The point is not to shame weekly therapy or promise that a longer session will work faster. The point is to offer a different structure for people who want more time than a standard session provides.
Why is this private pay?
Private-pay care allows us to offer flexible session lengths and treatment formats without being limited by insurance-covered session structures or billing requirements. It also gives you the choice of whether to submit claims for potential out-of-network mental health benefit reimbursement.
We operate out-of-network, but I can provide a monthly superbill upon request. You may submit it to your insurance company to determine whether you are eligible for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider directly to ask about your out-of-network mental-health benefits, reimbursement rates, deductibles, and any documentation or diagnosis requirements.
Submitting a superbill may involve sharing information with your insurance company, and reimbursement is not guaranteed. Please consider your preferences and circumstances before submitting claims.
Results vary based on individual circumstances, readiness, and participation. These sessions are designed to support exploration, regulation, and personal growth, but specific outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Vibe Check — $0
This is a zero-investment, zero-pressure 15-minute video chat where we can discuss what's motivating you to pursue therapy, answer questions, and ensure we are the right fit. Good therapy starts with fit, honesty, and enough trust to say when something is not working.
90 minutes
The framework session. Once we know the vibe is right, we dive into a 90-minute nervous system assessment and custom treatment roadmap. Your journey begins with a dedicated, Deep-Dive, high-impact session. Together, we will work on an unfiltered history review at a safe and comfortable pace. We’ll map out your targets, identify where they are felt or experienced in the body, explore your emotional reactions, and create a treatment plan together. At the end of this session, we will explore ongoing session options matched to your needs.
This is our version of ongoing therapy. It lasts 90 minutes and is booked as often as you like. For some people, traditional 50-minute sessions cut you off right as you're getting to the root of the issue. This non-traditional format gives you more time to process, explore, and integrate without watching the clock or holding back.
50 Minutes
The Unfiltered Hour is designed for focused therapeutic work around one specific trigger, pattern, or situation. This is ideal for clients who need targeted support, have limited availability, or are continuing their healing work after completing deeper sessions or intensives.
This is not a venting hour or a traditional talk-therapy check-in. This is a focused, intentional space designed to identify what is active, work with the nervous system response, and focus on movement around one specific area.
Please note: The nervous system mapping and intake is still required for all new clients before booking.
3 Hours
Just enough time to get real.
This is for one issue, trigger, pattern, or situation that keeps taking up too much damn space. We will start with intentional grounding, move into 2 full hours of focused therapeutic processing, and finish off with 45 minutes of integration, future intention, and closing.
This single-day block creates several uninterrupted hours for focused therapeutic work, with planned breaks and time for integration.
6 Hours
Enough time to get real and stop hiding.
Six hours of focused therapeutic time, broken into manageable blocks with room for grounding, breaks, reflection, and integration. We can explore the issue, pattern, or experience you want to address without trying to cram everything into one short appointment.
This format does not guarantee release, reset, resolution, or a dramatic before-and-after moment. It gives us more time and a different structure. That is all—and sometimes that is plenty.
We start with grounding and priming your nervous system for the deep work ahead. Next, we get into 5 hours of processing broken into 2–3 blocks with room to break and breathe. We finish with 45–60 minutes of verbal processing, integration, and grounding to bring you back to reality safely.
10 Hours
This one is for the shit that keeps taking up space—the pattern, memory, relationship, symptom, or reaction you are tired of circling around.
Imagine not spending months rehashing and retelling the past. Explore the emotional responses, memories, beliefs, body sensations, and patterns connected to the issue. These sessions are built with grounding and breaks so you step back to reality feeling different. This is the ultimate deep dive. We start with grounding and priming the nervous system for the deep exploration that is about to happen. From there, you will get 7 hours of processing split across 2–3 days. We finish with 2 hours of integration, verbal processing, and grounding split into 2 sessions—one of which occurs after the intensive is completed to help ensure you are supported as you jump back into reality.
A concentrated weekend format that offers extended therapeutic time in one container. It is not equivalent to, or a replacement for, six months of weekly therapy.
Interested in group or family processing via EMDR or brainspotting? This is your option. Let's work together to create a small group intensive that meets your needs.
